Istana Zakaria Mat Derus

Almost half a year has passed since this guy, Zakaria Mat Derus passed away, but the issue of his great mansion still linger in the air.
For me......it should be since this is not a case that should have been solved just because the person had died.

Today, Menteri Besar of Selangor, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has been said that the land in frot of the mansion that Zakaria built his porch on is actually belong to the government. So, he has issued an order that the owner of the mansion, since that the guy is now 6 feet under, the family member would be the representative, has 1 month from today's date to tear down the porch where the structure was build on.

Well.....for me, it came as a surprise as i did not expect this kind of action to be taken.......because i expect the whole building should be tear down instead....and not only the porch. Is this the best the Selangor Government can do? Doesn't more then RM10 million spent on the house ring any bells? How did a care taker for the railway line can earn so much by just becoming a representative for the Rakyat? How can a Klang Municipal Council member and Port Klang assemblyman own an illegally built 'satay' stall as well as not paying assessment for a house and an office for more then 10 years be left off the hook for a mere small amount? Don't you think something is fishy around here? If you don't feel so then there is surely something wrong with your nose, that i can assure you.

One thing for certain, he sure has his way around to escape all this. Although the new Opposition goverment who took over from previous one fail to really prove his wrong doing, i still believe there is something else hiding that is waiting to be uncovered. Hell, this involve money man, and this money come from the rakyat themselves. Why shouln't i make a fuss over this issue? Its not small amount from what i can see but then again, this involve the principle of trust and leadership. Seems that he has betray rakyat with all that stuffs and thus all this hatred towards him.

I hope UMNO themselves would take action on this guy because as long as this mansion is still standing, there're bound to be people like me, taking this opportunity, politicalised this issue and stray people away from the party itself.
I doubt that i would be accused of becoming a person who disrupt party unity but as a rakyat, I feel that justice has not been served well within the members of its own kind. You want us to vote for you, then you better clean up your own compound before you start harassing others.
